Why do I receive errors when I try to use WINTOOL in the Signal Processing Toolbox?
Date: 2024-05-08 16:59:50
I tried to create a hamming window and view it in Window Design & Analysis Tool that comes with Signal Processing Toolbox by using the following commands:
w = sigwin.hamming(64);
wintool(w);
However, I received the following errors:
ERROR: Initializing Window Design & Analysis Tool ...SigLab(debug,... 34) 2nd
argument must be between -400 and 32
??? Index exceeds matrix dimensions.
??? Error occurred while evaluating listener callback.
.. done.
Answer
The error can be caused by the SigLab Software created by Spectral Dynamics, Inc. You can try to rename the SigLab directory temporarily, restart MATLAB, then run the same commands to see if the errors still exist. Refer to the following address to contact the creator of SigLab.
